Professional Saddle Fitting Award

​

By enrroling onto the Professional Saddle Fitting Award you accept the terms and conditions hereby set out:

 

1. You confirm that you have attended or will attend the pre-requisite training set out in the course information section.

2. You accept and understand that the distance learning is self paced and assignments must be completed prior to attending the practical element of this course.

3. You agree to join the Facebook Study Group as this will contain essential information for the award course.

4. You understand and accept that the payment is a non-refundable. Any outstanding balance will be due prior to the practical course and you will receive an invoice for this amount in due course.

4.1. You understand that the course start date is the date you receive access to your online learning and invitation to our Facebook support group. 

5. You understand and accept that the balance is payable at least 30 days prior to attending the practical training element and must be received before attending.

6. You understand and accept that the practical element is an essential part of the course and must be completed before you can progress towards certification.

7. You are fully responsible for travel and accommodation to the practical course location at your own expense.

8. You may defer to a later practical course with a minium of 12 weeks notice.

9. Practical training locations vary and you should expect to travel outside of your local area to attend the practical training course.

10. A practical examination is required and all units must be passed to achieve the required level. Failure to pass any part of the exam will result in a fail. Failed exams will need to be re-sat and an additional fee is payable (currently £495)

11. A high standard of competence is required to pass the practical assessment details of which will be clearly explained during the practical element and a pass rate of 75% is typical for the practical assessment element.

12.. International Academy of Saddle Fitters reserve the right to amend venue locations and dates of practical courses at any time and this may be at short notice. Any changes will be communicated to you and you will be offered an alternative location and/or date. You are under no obligation to accept the offered venue or date and may defer until a more suitable venue and date become available.

13. All learning material is owned by the International Academy of Saddle Fitters (IASF) and must be treated as confidential. You are not permitted to share or distribute any learning material, documents, images or video owned by IASF.

14. Following successful completion of the Professional Saddle Fitting Award you are required to attend and successfully complete a reassessment day ever 36 months.

15. Dates and locations of reassessment days will be published 12 months in advance. You will be responsible for booking and attending your reassessment day and covering all costs including day fee, travel and accommodation if required. 

16. A minimum requirement of 36 hours CPD training hours per year are required to maintain your professional award with the IASF.

Your information is securely stored.

We keep your personal contact information for 4 years following your last interaction. We will then dispose your information by permanent deletion from our database.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
