I have been saddle fitting for over 25 years and have wanted to have a qualification as in this day and age customers want assurance that they are treated professionally. The IASF certainly opened my eyes to everything that can affect a saddle fit and how important it is also for the rider. I look at everything on the horse from the hooves upwards and what area (if any) can affect the saddle and how to put this right. The horse and rider need to work balanced and in harmony with each other to achieve the best results. I find this very rewarding working with clients and keeping in touch regularly to make sure that everything is perfect.
