I joined Saddles Direct as a saddle fitter in early 2021. I was looking progress from working for a singular saddle brand to a company that offered multiple options and saddle brands for both horse and rider. I have been horse mad since a child, and was riding before I could walk.

My love of horses followed me through to university where I went on to gain BSc (Hons) Degree in Equine Sport Science at Hartpury University, covering everything from nutrition to biomechanics & anatomy of both horse and rider.

I believe that with second-hand saddles the final result should be as good as what you would have if you had a bespoke made to measure saddle ordered and you should always have what is best for both you and your horse.

I have many year's experience fitting both Continental saddles such as Equipe, Amerigo, Prestige, Devoucoux, Voltaire and also English saddles such as Albion, Ideal, Harry Dabbs and Fairfax. I believe both have a good place in the market and Saddles Direct gives me the opportunity to fit what is best for the horse and rider combination. With a wide range of experience from 5* event horses and riders to children on ponies, working with Saddles Direct gives me the tools to cater for anyone.
