Job Description

The IASF are looking for multiple Saddle Fitting Tutor/Assessors to join our growing team of educators.

​

The successful candidates will be confident, personable and approachable with excellent communication skills the ability to perform under pressure.

​

With a clear passion and proven track record in professional saddle fitting for over 5 years you will working as part of the Education Delivery Team to provide high quality training to trainee saddle fitters both in person and virtually. You will also be assessing candidates throughout their practical examinations and providing written and verbal feedback to the Education Coordination Team.

​

Along with your saddle fitting experience you will have an in-depth understanding of equine and human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Prior experience in equine therapy or coaching to a high level is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. 

​

Along with your peers you will be responsible for the delivery and communication of set learning material to a group of 10-14 students while overseeing and managing practical tasks throughout an intensive practical week.

​

Practical weeks are booked 12-18 months in advance and you will be requested to work when and where the business requires on a flexible basis. Projected working requirements initially will be three weeks per year (in-house) and ad-hoc remote hours may also be offered with the potential to increase this as the organisation grows.

​

Practical weeks are currently held in Droitwich, West Midlands (however locations can vary) so living within a commutable distance of this would be an advantage, alternatively you will be prepared to travel to the education venue for the duration of the course (5-7 days – accommodation & food allowance provided).

Successful candidates will benefit from our own in-house training and certification program and will be required to commit to the ongoing training and development process. Further details of which will become available during the selection process.
